Jesse Child’s sequel, Kam Remembered attracts readers internationally with it’s journey from America to Africa
(National, November 11, 2011) - Novelist Jesse Childs released his highly anticipated, Kam Remembered, a sequel to Isaiah Eleven, a historical fiction and touching journey rejoining Isaiah as he faces the challenges of the sudden death of his father Kam. Isaiah Raymond, the main character of both novels, confronts a series of experimental therapies: psychology, DNA testing, and mental strength to weather the storm of the story’s modern-day recession. Isaiah is challenged to find inner strength using the guidance of his ancestors while fusing the optimism of his rich future into his journey of learning and discovering the acute details of his history.

Kam Remembered is an excellent resource for anyone who has made the courageous decision to pursue a lineage study and reconnect to their origins. This novel helps refine focus and convictions for Isaiah, while building determination to continue his legacy and understanding of status in society. This second part of a trilogy created via the Afromerican Project, a collective of writers, artists and musicians, will intrigue and captivate readers while introducing them to ongoing music projects and an educational component promoting children’s literacy, genealogy and green entrepreneurship.

"Afromerican” is a term combining African and American. It describes the culture and roots of combined ancestry- A way for more people to relate to and embrace the rich fusion of influence that is expressed by descendants of Africa living in the Americas and greater African Diaspora. The music project fuses afro-beat, roots reggae, hip-hop and more.
