by A
SAN FRANCISCO, November 16, 2011 - A group of SF Occupiers and students from UC Santa Cruz effectively shut down a banK of ameriKKa office today in downtown San Francisco. The sit-in was conducted in a non-violent manner by those protesting and from video broadcasts no incidents of police violence have been reported.
At issue is the conflict of interest posed by the fact that one Monica Lozano who is a UC Regent also sits on the board of directors for banK of amerikka.

Students want her to sign a pledge to refund the money the bank received in bail out funds to the UC system.
