|Ecology Center, 2530 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley.|
A massive 10-day storm has recently hit communities in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Belize. Many of the project leaders that the International Institute of Indigenous Sciences (Indigenous Permaculture Project) has been working with for the past several years have been in close communication with us during these difficult times.
Many of the projects on sustainable agriculture, food security, reforestation, the building of sustainable kitchens, and other indigenous technologies have been gravely affected by this disaster.
Come join us for an evening that will include presentations about the different projects being done in the region, along with good food and music.
Donations can be made through PayPal at http://www.indigenous-permaculture.com.
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
Location: Ecology Center, 2530 San Pablo Ave, near Dwight Way, Berkeley.
Cost: Donations go toward Central American projects of the Indigenous Permaculture Project.
