by Rubble
Thursday Oct 27th, 2011 10:21 PM
Hear audio from an Occupy Oakland activist at the SF General Assembly. (3 minutes)
Listen now:
Reportedly, a group of ex-marines went to Oscar Grant Park and tore down the fences so activists can reclaim the site after Mayor Quan’s announcement.

Activists are asking for video of the police shooting and severely injuring protestor Scott Olson at close range with tear gas, then shooting another container at a group of protestors who ran to help him. The video is needed for legal purposes.

A general strike and day of action is planned by Occupy Oakland next Wednesday.
