Pamela Olson's new book, Fast Times in Palestine, is a memoir about her time working as a young journalist based in Ramallah in 2003-2005. The book combines narrative journalism with tight pacing, adventure, humor, and even romance to make for a page-turning yet intensely informative read.
Dr. Hatim Kanaaneh, author of A Doctor in Galilee, called the book "a fascinating combination: wit, adventure, poetry, humane intimacy, and a lot of factual info." Rebecca Vilkomerson, executive director of Jewish Voice for Peace, called it "a moving, inspiring account of life in Palestine that's enormously informative yet reads like a novel."
You can find a synopsis, excerpts, and more reviews on the author's website: http://pamolson.org/ and the book’s Amazon page: http://www.amazon.com/dp/0615456243.
Join us in celebrating the publication of this book. The programs will feature a short presentation by the author, readings from the book, and Q&A followed by book signings. Copies will be available for purchase.
