Saturday, September 17, 2011
Time:
2:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Location Details:
555 California St.

Adbusters has begun Occupy Wall Street, a campaign aiming to occupy Wall Street with 20,000+ for an indefinite period of time starting September 17th, with the hopes of highlighting corporate and political corruption within the United States (more information can be found here: http://www.adbusters.org/blogs/adbusters-blog/occupywallstreet.html). The movement has quickly spread and protestors are preparing to simultaneously occupy financial districts around the globe, including the "Wall Street of the West" - Montgomery St. in San Francisco.

Sept 17 at 2:00 PM we plan to gather outside 555 California St. in San Francisco. It is near a BART station for mass public transit. Montgomery St. is called the Wall St. of the West and the building, formerly called the Bank of America Center, is located nearby to Montgomery St. and currently houses Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and other financial clients as tenants. The tenants of the building and the name "Wall St. of the West" is fitting to show our solidarity with the #OccupyWallStreet crowd in NYC.
