a blow for housing freedom was struck in the SF mission district yesterday july 4th and a few blows were struck on a hapless protester by the cops..
a fairly mellow march with the brass liberation orchestra and anun-unoccupation action took place yesterday at the former 19th and mission SRO "hotel sierra". mellow that is until the cops inexplicably charged the place with 7-8 squad cars. a group of cops wrassled what seemed to me to be a non violent bystander to the ground, broke his tooth and arrested him. cops then sealed off the whole street with "police line do not cross" plastic tape. then, about 15 min later the cops took all the tape down and split. weird? your tax dollars at work? they wanted to get good seats for the fireworks?
enjoy!
