A fourth Flotilla ship has been sabotaged. Meet in front of the Israel Consulate today

San Francisco:
On the day following an attack (or boarding) of any ship in the Freedom Flotilla 2- Stay Human, we invite all people of conscience to gather outside the Israeli Consulate at 456 Montgomery St.,. San Francisco, Ca 94104 at 5:00 pm.

San Jose:
On the day following an attack (or boarding) of any ship in the flotilla we invite all people of conscience to gather outside the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library (San Jose Public Library) in San Jose at 150 East San Fernando Street, San Jose, CA 95112 at 5:00 pm.

We also ask that Palestine solidarity groups, and peace and justice groups spread this message across their membership through listservs, phone calls, and other forms of social media. It is of the utmost importance that this event has a large attendance; international pressure–especially from the United States–is a critical factor in preventing Israel from acting with impunity towards humanitarian activists. We all need to be prepared to act on short notice.

The notices you reposted were intended for AFTER the ships set sail, not for every bit of sabotage or drama in port. http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2011/06/27/18683124.php

There have only been two boats sabotaged thus far - the Greek boat and the Irish boat - not four. Still not good, but accuracy is important. Things are bad enough without having to stretch the truth.

Call-outs for action like this one here have more credibility if they are associated with some group rather than completely anonymous. If this is something you are serious about, hopefully you are making personal contacts and not just posting to Indybay thinking that a crowd will magically appear.
