For months Lennar dared anyone to do anything - the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Toxic and Substances Control, the Regional Water Board, the Bay Area Air Quality and Management Board, the SF Health Department - all looked away, while thousands of innocent children, men, and women were poisoned.
All this in San Francisco, one of the richest cities in the world.

We, collected 33,000 to confront SF Redevelopment Agency and ask them to show us proof of any action when the SF Redevelopment Agency - notified the public to declare over 2,258 acres as a Survey Area in the Bayview Hunters Point and then moved on the so called fake action - to make the Survey Land - a Project Area.
Thus permitted entities such as Lennar to come and develop on land without abatement, mitigation, and a sound Environmental Impact Report.
We collected the signatures and the SF Election Department - certified our signatures. The people won.
Then, Dennis Herrera our current City Attorney declared our petition and victorious Ballot Measure - null and void. The people lost.
His flimsy reason, there was no concrete map to show the people who signed our measure - the area in question and the impacts on the area. He justified his action, pointing to a case in the East Bay that the Court held upheld. That case has since been reverted.
Dennis Herrera with the help of Gavin Newsom and other very corrupt people - worked against the people of San Francisco. At that some of the SF Supervisors participated in this plot, against the people. Much as those SF Supervisors who are against the people and want to demolish affordable housing. All of them do not fundamentally comprehend housing issues, have no sense of history, and lack viable and sustainable practices linked to housing - which goes further to serve the peoples - interests.
