Sacramento Valley Veterans (SVV) invites you to come on out for our first Community Rummage Sale!
Proceeds from the sale will go on to benefit the Sacramento Valley Veterans (SVV) and the Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center. The funds raised will allow SVV and the Center to continue providing programs and outreach to the Sacramento Valley's LGBTQ community.
SVV is the local chapter of American Veterans for Equal Rights (AVER), a nationwide organization comprised of LGBTQ Veterans and Servicemembers. SVV serves the community through activism, advocacy, and outreach to the area's LGBTQ Veterans and has been involved in the recent efforts to repeal the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.
The Sacramento Gay & Lesbian Center serves as the place for the Sacramento's LGBTQ Community. The Center provides a large variety and programs ranging from queer youth outreach to legal help to serving as an information hub for a large list of resources.
