Sound leadership and justice when it comes to REPRESENTATION in San Francisco.
Decent San Franciscans are astute and look forward to the coming elections in November, 2011. Are there are Representatives vying for seats that should represent all of San Francisco and be well informed, educated, and just. Do these candidates have standards, practice sound ethics, and can they serve with humility. Time will tell.
All over San Francisco and beyond - corrupt forces are positioning themselves supporting many dubious candidates linked to the coming elections in November, 2011. Some candidates are vying for Mayor of San Francisco, others for District Attorney, still others for City Attorney, few for Sheriff, and the other vacant positions.
Among the candidates are some SF Board of Supervisors - who wanted to elevate their status - but really have not done justice serving their present Districts and in their present positions.
The former Mayor of San Francisco - Gavin Newsom, one of the worst Mayors ever to have made his nest in Room 200 in SF City Hall - has created a lot of confusion. Today, our City and County of San Francisco - one of the richest cities in the world - is in a mess. It is worse off because of Gavin Newsom.
Who ever is the Mayor will first have to have a sound understanding of the many segments of the population of San Francisco.
For years the Polynesian community has been ignored. On any level the Polynesian community has done well when it comes to contributing to the best interest of the City and County of San Francisco. In return the community has not got anything much.
Polynesians serve our military with distinction - that is where I met the first Polynesians, in the military - and today continue to adhere to many of them who are my dear friends. Polynesians in the military have sacrificed in greater numbers - then any other segment of the population in our Nation.
San Francisco has not been kind to the Polynesians - and when the recent Tsunami hit the islands of Samoa - Western and American - with great difficulty some measly sum was contributed - to the victims - by the City and County of San Francisco.
It is the same when it comes to the Latinos and other segments of our population.
In recent months the homeless population has grown up leaps and bounds. There is some talk that Care not Cash has made a dent. Those that can see, those that meet the thousands of homeless and those that cannot afford a meal and go hungry for days - know about the suffering.
To witness this you must be compassionate - you have to know to walk the walk and less - talk the talk.
In the Southeast Sector of San Francisco - our youth continue to suffer.
Truancy is at a all time high. 10,000 youth do not go to school and the City Supervisors - think nothing of it. 1 out of 5 children go to bed hungry and we have the audacity to call ourselves a rich city. Where is the conscience of this City and those that Represent this City and County of San Francisco?
Our City budget is $6.8 billion. Many other cities do not have such a budget and may I add hundreds of countries all over the world.
Our population is 816,000 and we have over 26,000 City workers. Over forty percent of them make over $125,000 with benefits. Many of our City workers are inept - time to cut the fat.
Has this City taken the time to conduct an independent economic analysis on this issue of City workers and high salaries? What about the pensions that will kill our economy? What about other benefits? And if we have not this study - he when are we going to wake up and do the right thing?
Fifty percent of our City's population consists of Elders - those over 55 years and of this numbers over sixty percent that have chronic - disabilities.
It is heart breaking to see this segment of the population deprived of sound transportation. Having to wait in lines to get good health services. Most of all basic food and many of them are starving. All this in San Francisco - one of the richest countries in the entire - world.
Senator Diane Feinstein and her husband Richard Blum continue to rake in millions of dollars. So does Nancy Pelosi the ranking minority leader in Congress and her husband with connections to fruit canning companies in Samoa and other places - doing there best deprive workers from a decent wage.
Barbara Boxer nearly lost her Congressional seat the last time around - she could have done better on Environmental Issues - but has not because of lack of leadership and poor comprehension on matters that count - linked to contamination, dangerous particulates, and radiological toxicity linked to Superfund Sites - mostly Department of Defense - military bases that have been abandoned.
San Francisco is known for its QUEER population - but even the QUEER are staying away from San Francisco because it is no longer the Mecca of the QUEERS. Many of them find the housing expensive, many do not get the health care, and many simply feel the QUEER leadership has not served them is a fair manner.
We have a number of bi-sexual and queer Representatives in City Hall and as heads of City Departments - some of them are fair and have leadership qualities - many of them are building there portfolio while on the job and NOT serving the constituents of San Francisco.
People may be surprised to know that I have many QUEER friends - good friends - all of them are fair and may I add astute.
None of them will side with some issue - just for the sake of taking sides. Our Treasurer and our Director of City Planning - both are QUEER - but, you never hear me say much about them - because they are fair.
Ed Harrington who heads the SF Public Utilities Commission is QUEER - and he knows I respect him.
The point is - it does not matter what your life style is - if you Represent and if you serve - be fair and do not be impartial and side certain issues without using your brains. Do not favor entities and persons - with sound justification.
Lennar is dead and there is NO movement what so ever on Hunters Point. Lennar did poison our children and elders - spewing particulates, dangerous Asbestos friables, and radiological contaminants. We took this company on and they are now laying in a coffin ready for incineration.
We, the people took a stand and we won. However, Lennar is still hovering around and the sooner they leave the better.
I say this as a warning if any candidate take money from Lennar who will be black listed.
If you take money from Lennar you will not get our votes - the decent, hardworking San Franciscan will be informed - and you will NOT get our votes.
We want Sound Leadership and Justice when it comes to Representation in San Francisco.

'We The People' now have only 2 solid representatives on the Board of Subservients, Avalos and Campos. Mar and Mirkarimi can usually be counted on to do the right thing. Kim is slow dancing with the Devil. The rest are all, without exception, sucking on the Devil's teats.
