Sit In Against Violence and Intolerance Under The Golden Arches

Location Details:
McDonalds - 5454 Mission Street San Francisco, CA

The attack upon Chrissy Lee Polis in a Baltimore, Maryland McDonalds was horrible and inhumane, yet employees and management seemed indifferent towards it, even laughing at it like it was joke. There have been other incidents in other McDonalds franchises where there was hatred, intolerance, discrimination and physical violence against people because of their culture, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc. This must end!

We are scheduling various peaceful sit-ins to be held at several McDonalds franchises across the country to send a message to McDonalds Corporate that we say *NO* to violence and intolerance in their restaurants towards transgender/ transsexual, gay, lesbian, Muslims, disabled and other people.

This will be a great opportunity to do things like pass out educational flyers to the public there.

We say *YES* McDonalds must update, amend, adhere to more inclusive policies for Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, etc. and more comprehensive employee sensitivity training.
