Join us Tuesday, May 19 for a presentation and discussion on "The movement for revolution and BAsics"
Communism is "encircled" on a global scale, and the RCP's campaign “The Revolution We Need... The Leadership We Have” is crucial in breaking out of this encirclement, and building a movement for revolution. The campaign's three objectives concentrate urgent needs: to put revolution back on the map in people’s thinking; to make Bob Avakian a well-known point of reference in society; and to bring forward new cores of revolutionaries, of emancipators of humanity.
BAsics, from the Talks and Writings of Bob Avakian, ia a potentially powerful contribution to achieving all three of these objectives.

Where is Chairman Bob Avakian ? He's the leadership we need !!!! I realize there are serious security considerations , after all if they could murder M. L. KIng , Malcom X, and Patrice Lumumbra of course they would try to take out the best mind since Mao !
But perhaps if you brought out for a Public appearance and surrounded him with a couple of hundred RCP cadre he would survive . (I know that would be the entire National membership of the party but think of the tens of thousands who would flock to his leadership if they could only breathe in his essence ! )

The RCP is a creepy cult. It is singularly dedicated to promoting it's founder as the only hope for all humanity. Avakian more or less destroyed the RCP, freaked out when other communists internationally didn't agree with his deluded self-assessment and is now reduced to nothing more than a pension fund for the "unique rare and irrereplaceable" guru that is Chairman Bob.
It's depressing that the weird rituals of this groups are treated as if they were "political activism". If you join the RCP, they will intentionally seek to isolate you from friends and family, control your intimate life and personal communications, take your money, and then when you ask "why" throw you out. That's the method of operation, and if you don't believe it — make sure you ask many of the former members and supporters around the Bay. Many years ago, thousands of smart people at the height of the 1960s radical movements came together around the Revolutionary Union. And old Chairman Bob was a dynamic young leader.
Fast-forward to today? They've ground that organization down to around 100 aging weirdos who need fresh blood to keep Bob Avakian from the indignity of ever working a day in his life.
