ILWU Members And Supporters Sit-In At Oakland PMA Office Photos
Approximately 18 ILWU members and supporters had an several hour occupation of the PMA offices in Oakland to protest the lockout of their members in Concord by the Pacific Maritime Association. The PMA has also sued the ILWU Local 10, its president and other locals to try to destroy the union hall.
ILWU members and their supporters had an several hour occupation of the Oakland PMA offices on April 12, 2011. They left later for a rally at the entrance of the building to be joined by members who had left the docks to support them.

The ILWU members and supporters had a sit-in at the PMA Oakland offices.
The Pacific Maritime Association is trying to destroy the ILWU Coast Wide Contract. They have also brought in non-union crews in San Diego to bust the union. The contract was placed on the counter at the PMA offices in Oakland
The PMA was preparing to arrest the ILWU members and supporters for trespassing and the Oakland cops were filling out the arrest forms in the reception office
The ILWU members and supporters had a sit-down in the Oakland PMA board room for several hours. The PMA bosses are refusing to negotiate
The ILWU and supporters from the SEIU left the building for a rally out in front of the PMA which is next to Oakland City Hall. Mayor Jean Quan of Oakland passed by the workers in front of the PMA but but did not support or speak about this blatant attack on the ILWU by the PMA. She was supported by the ILWU in her past election victory
