We want to uphold Quality of Life issues in the Southeast Sector not poor inferior housing
Over thirty thousand housing units are planned for the Southeast Sector - without, any consideration about Quality of Life issues. The paradox is that in San Francisco that has a population of 816,000 we already have over 30,000 vacant homes today. Not to mention over two thousand vacant units - most of them in Public Housing - boarded up and " Waiting for Godot". The interim Mayor simply does not get it, the leaders of the SF Redevelopment Agency simply do not get it. Even as they witness, the demise of SFRA that is imminent. The SF Mayor's Office of Economic Development and Work Force, and the Mayor's Office of Housing - all have failed. Greed and vested interests have over powered them and the concerns for those that most need help - have been put on the back burner. Time will tell.
Over 10,500 homes are planned to be built on land prone to liquefaction, flood, and contaminated more with radiological elements.
This in and around Hunters Point Naval Shipyard and Candlestick Point that is prone to the above but also a Tsunami. Added to the above the landfill on which these area was created some 2568 acres plus - is contaminated with Methane Gas spewing into the air.
One tone of Methane Gas equals twenty two tons of Carbon Dioxide - now multiply that by 100,000 tons and you can figure out the mess the Greedy Developers have to deal with.
Now, our SF City and County of San Francisco will talk about some about the Carbon Footprint - but with all the wrong calculations. If anyone, worth their salt goes to Hunter Point Naval Shipyard and Candlestick Point - monitors the area - collects the data they will be shocked.
The Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) does NOT want to open this can of worms. The BAAQMD is not doing their job.
The Department of Toxic and Substances Control does not want to added this factor as part of any Cumulative Reading linked to any decent Environmental Impact Report or Study.
The Regional Water Board knows some; about this issue but has pandered to the various Big Developers and authorities - like the SF Public Utilities Commission and the release of half-treated sewage in the Bay, the release of added Methane Gas in the atmosphere from the two Raw Sewage Treatment Plants and more.
Then close up we have the Aggregate Companies, the Concrete Companies all contributing to the toxic soup.
Add to that millions of vehicles spewing million of tons of dangerous particulates - and this CESSPOOL of toxic clouds hovers all over this area and more. The wind carries the toxic and dangerous gases, the particulates, the particulates - and no one really cares - not any of the above mentioned entities and for sure NOT the Environmental Protection Agency that has LIED - when it came to Parcel A and Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.
Check the empirical data at the hospitals - thousands die of cancer, asthma, and other chronic diseases.
Where is Congressperson Nancy Pelosi on this. Senator Barbara Boxer and of course Senator Diane Feinstein?
Where is the Pacific Heights Mafia on this?
Where is Willie L. Brown Jr. on this and other projects that he has his dirty finger in?
Who in minding the store - and who do you really think cares about the people - the ordinary people?
Who is supporting our Mothers, our women that have to fight injustice and take care of our children?
Who is listen to our children? Do you think, for a second this greedy mongers think about justice, fair play and our children?

The area on which these units will be built is toxic. Even now there are vents to permit - certain gases to spew into the air and the people that you see waiting for the bus and walking to perform their daily chores - and not fully aware of what is going on. There are no warning signs - what so ever. Shame on the Regulatory Agencies.
The Schlage Lock dealt with all sorts of toxic chemicals when it was in operation.
Chrome plating and its residue was spilled all over the place and dumped in large quantities and impact the Watershed.
I brought this issue to the Department of Toxic and Substances Control (DTSC) way back in the year 2000 and then again in 2002. DTSC then conducted some tests - and some money was put into some half-ass - so called clean up. No one can bluff all the people all the time.
On any given day right now - you can test the soil and the air and you will register high levels of chemicals and other particulates - that are above average.
Again' for the umpteen time - our City and County of San Francisco has the Precautionary Principle - we say we have standards - but when it comes to human beings; the human beings are cheated, lied to, and then sold inferior homes and what is pathetic made to live on land and an environment that will adverse impact their lives.
If this is not genocide I do not know what is? Where are our Representatives on this one?
Where are the local leaders on this one? Good leaders know the way, show the way, and go the way.

The SFRA is behind the building of inferior homes on land that is a landfill, contaminated, not far from the Brisbane Petroleum Tanks that emit contaminated fumes, very dangerous to any life, and also human life.
Near by surrounding the site millions of vehicles spew very dangerous particulates and other contaminants. No one talks about this - and daily someone will entice some one else - through misinformation about the units that will be built and how they must look forward to these inferior homes. Adversely impacting their precious lives as years go by. Wake up fools and do not believe anything you hear without pausing and doing some research and consulting those in the know.
The people of Little Hollywood are confused, perplexed, bewildered and confounded.
The thugs from Visitation Valley are running with the ball - spewing misinformation, spreading disinformation - and all the time thinking they will succeeded. SF Redevelopment Agency will be no more come July, 2011. Few know about that. The devil will be laid to rest and may they never, ever resurrect in any form, model, entity - this evil organization and all they stand for - must in incinerated and buried once and for all.
There is some plan to put in place a model that has not be tested - called, the Infrastructure Financing District.
Some of you may be savvy to do the research and find out out more.
Then is a model at Rincon Hill in San Francisco. We are watching - what is pathetic; is that the same old thugs from SFRA, the Mayor's Office of Economic Development, the Mayor's Office of Housing are all anxiously selling this concept to keep their jobs.
The SF Planning Department just lost over ten Senior Planners - they were fired for distributing PORNOGRAPHIC material when on the job.
We tax payers pay them and they fool around.
Gives you an inkling on what happens when there are no checks and balances. The present Director of SF Planning - Mr. John Rahaim is decent - and it is not his fault - but the man has a problem on his hands. Over fifty percent turn over in the SF Planning Department - and the new SF Planners - have to learn the history and of course deal with the astute San Franciscans - who look at every opportunity to whoop their - asses.
All in all do not dream too much to live in the homes and units planned for the future - on very contaminated ground.
The present Economic Crisis will remain for another ten years.
It will get worse - but, then ALL will heal and rebound.
There is nothing in the entire Earth - like American ingenuity - God has helped us because we have helped others - Germany, Britain, France, many other countries have got immense help from America. More good has neutralized the bad for those that are ready to give me the bad list. For now let us think the glass as half full.
Now, it is time for the world to help us - in anyway they can - even with a little understanding.
What is happening in the Middle-East will come to haunt us - food and other essentials are on the up and people are hurting. Many have not worked in two and three years and so we just cannot think of those that have jobs and paint a rosy picture. We must support those that are hurting - and do it now.
Of course at the HUB of any discussion are the Native American - who I fight for - they made it possible for us - looked after the land and left it pristine.
Then came the strangers and fucked it up. Of course those that screwed it up - do not like to be told so - but it is a fact of life. Just look around and see what they have done to our economic. The trauma they have caused to our children, our Elders, those that had hope but now are down on their hope. God is Great and in Him - we must put our Faith and many do not like to hear when you mention God - but, I will say it anyway.
In the Southeast Sector and beyond another one thousand five hundred homes are planned to be demolished at Parkmerced.
Most of these homes are rental homes and good folks have lived in them - some for more then twenty five years.
Now some Greedy, Property Managers, Hedge Fund maniacs, with the help of the SF City and County of San Francisco - want to demolish 1500 rental homes - and build high density homes.
High density homes are for those that do not believe in Quality of Life issues.
Our stupid SF Supervisors better think twice about high density and this false concept that high density homes must be built by some inferior transit that is not on time - provides inferior services and more stinks to high heaven.
Our Light Rail and MUNI is not safe - and thugs intimidate and if you stand up - they can kill you - they are armed with guns.
Most of all - the Big Developers are caught again and again - building inferior homes on land prone to liquefaction, flooding, and very near heavy transit corridors - spewing millions of tons of particulates - all during the time the poor residents made their abode - five, ten, fifteen years of their living in the units.
Where is the Quality of Life? Where is the Compassion? All this in San Francisco - named after St. Francis of Assisi - and known for being very caring. Not only was Saint Francis of Assisi caring to the humans, but to the birds and animals. Any takers?
