Juliano Mer Khamis, actor, activist, director was assassinated in Jenin, on April 4th in front of the theater that he built as an act of resistance against the Israeli Occupation. In tribute to his life and his memory, Kairos Theater Ensemble is screening his highly acclaimed, award-winning documentary, “Arna’s Children” about his mother’s work with youth in the Jenin Refugee camp. This screening will be followed by an interactive theatrical tribute by Kairos Theater. There will also be a panel of Palestinian speakers to speak of history and current affairs. Please join us in this commemoration of Juliano, his vision and his cause.
