UCSC Disorientation Guide Seeking New Members
UCSC Radical Publication Seeking New Writers/Artists
The UC Santa Cruz Disorientation Guide is a radical yearly publication to incite critical thought and action, to educate students about the campus's rich history of activism and to inform the UCSC student body about the things the administration doesn't want us to know about such as: the budget cuts, the Long Range Development Plan and the fight for Ethnic Studies.
The 2011-2012 Disguide is currently in the works and the publication collective is seeking new members. We are looking for a diverse group of independently minded individuals who are seeking to work in a group at the University to fight for social and institutional change through writing and student media.
Minimal requirements:
- Must be a current member of the UCSC community: Undergraduate, graduate student, faculty or staff (non-students will inherently have a limited role in the process).
- Must be passionate about social activism, social justice, economic justice, education and/or art or publishing. We are looking for writers, researchers, artists, editors, graphic designers, photographers and volunteers.
