I have read on various internet sites that fallout from a nuclear blast or meltdown can become concentrated at much higher levels durring a rainstorm than durring clear weather. Do you reccommend that people in North America stay indoors durring the next few months durring rainstorms to avoid excessive exposure to radiation from the fallout from the Japan meltdowns?

Helen mentioned on the show that rainfall may produce hot spots of localy concentrated fallout. TV news confirmed that in Japan rainfall would increase radiation levels at the ground. So beware.
