Simpson who have been going around the US spreading lies about Social Security and trying to privatize it.

The Monterey Herald called the group of demonstrators "feisty but good-natured", that sounds about right looking at this video. Best part is at about 1:10 where that one protester dressed like a fat cat in a top hat is shoveling from a bucket labelled BS... clever....

My parents live mainly off social security, one is severely disabled. I near retirement age myself. I thank you for fighting against this bullshit. Privatization is not the answer. I agree SS is currently solvent, certainly for the next 20 years or more if they keep their hands out of the coffers. There are many things that can make SS even better without making it privatized. Privatization will mean it will be profit driven and far less transparent than it is already.
