Qi Dao is an intuitive approach to body awareness. A basic class generally involves learning a series of circular, whole body "movement explorations". Through these small "experiments", you can discover and apply those principles of alignment, rooting and grounding which work most effectively for you.

This simple, exploratory approach encompasses principles and practices similar to Tai Chi and Chinese Internal Martial Arts. However, Qi Dao is different from most "Eastern" art in that it focuses is on discovering principles for your self rather than just following fixed "forms" and obeying a master. I consider it an ideal "anti-authoritarian" martial art, healing art and system of body-awareness. Despite it's apparent simplicity, this is an "esoteric" discipline which can be explored to any level of "depth" one might wish.
