TONY SERRA, the subject of the recently-published book by Paulette Frankl,
Lust for Justice, The Radical Life & Law of J. Tony Serra
will discuss his life and work.
TONY SERRA graduated from UC Berkeley's Boalt School of Law in 1961. For most of his life since then, he has been a criminal defense lawyer and, as in the successful Judi Bari-Daryl Cherney lawsuit against the FBI and Oakland Police, a civil lawyer, working, usually without pay, on behalf of radical activists, outcasts and random victims of the injustice system.
