Iraqis call for demonstration in San Francisco, Embarcadero Center, Friday, Feb. 25th.

The people of the Middle East face monumental economic challenges. Revolutions have started in Tuisia, Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Iran, and sooner or later the entire region will face similar struggles. The 'cultural' Middle Eastern region, including North Africa, is feeling the sting of sanctions with shortages, unemployment, layoffs and inflation fears creating a widening gap between the regime and the people.

The point of the protest is to make this a world-wide issue to be dealt with internationally. We must make a visible effort in America to show our continued support for peace in the Middle East.
