Video: Austerity Budget Means More Unemployment

Obama is arguing on the Republicans' turf; he has lost control of the debate. Obama has internalized the deficit hawks' frenzy; jobs and unemployment are eclipsed by the sole focus on reducing the deficit. We're arguing about cuts instead of reordering the economy. The horse is economic recovery. Once jobs are created, the deficit will gradually be reduced (Robert Kuttner).
