HIV IS STILL HERE IN SAN FRANCISCO AND IS AFFECTING ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR
HIV IS AFFECTING ALL PEOPLE OF COLOR. IT HAS NOT GONE AWAY.
Magdalena Soul is a HIV Prevention Safe Sex Educator in San Francisco. She was certified last year at City College of San Francisco. At her Safe Sex Fair day at City College, alot of African Americans were very interested in HIV Prevention. She remembers the first generation of HIV. Alot of people she knew which included people of color have come. She is glad that BET has their Wrap It Up campaign but there needs to be more said about the epidemic. Even the treatments are better and people are healthier than ever not everyone can access that treatment especially people of color. She feels we need to keep fighting for the cause or more will people will die. Do not turn away your people of color brother and sisters, she feels. African American Women and Men over 40 are being hit the hardest. They need you more than ever.
