On Thursday, February 24, at the Humanist Hall, 390 27th Street in Oakland, the Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club will hold a discussion with Josh Holland, a senior staff writer at AlterNet.org and author of The 15 Biggest Lies About the Economy (and Everything else the Right Doesn't Want You to Know About Taxes, Jobs and Corporate America) and Tom Rankin, Legislative Director of the CA Labor Federation who will talk about the state of the national economy, the threat to social security, and what we can do about it.
