DOMESTIC VIOLENCE IN SAN FRANCISCO STILL EXISTS

by Magdalena Soul (musicamaria [at] yahoo.com)
Domestic Violence Still Exists in San Francisco More Than Ever in Recent Times
Magdalena Soul, a San Francisco Resident, experienced her own domestic violence less than a year ago. Her experience is very subtle. It turned out after seven years that she discovered that her husband was an alcoholic abusive husband who she needed to flee from. When she got a lawyer for free she asked for no fault divorce and was granted. She left without any money but just possessions. She was fortunate to have kept her old apartment. She decided to keep it as safe as possible for herself. The domestic violence agencies helped her tremendously. Now she is studying to be a sexual health educator. She has made a new life for herself. She has no physical bruises but was emotionally and sexually abused. Sometimes it is better with little and be safe and be happy. She is on her way to a better life emotionally and spiritually. She is a success.
