Join us for our annual Bay Area Seed Swap at the Berkeley Ecology Center! This is a fun night for gathering with community, sharing potluck supper, hoe down music, home-grown garden seeds, and lots of fantastic people! Get the chance to meet with other local agriculture stewards and urban gardeners and participate in the art of seed swapping.
The Bay Area Seed Interchange Library (BASIL) Project is part of a growing network of concerned farmers and community gardeners dedicated to conserving the remaining genetic diversity of our planet's seed stock. We have created a library of healthy vegetable, herb, and flower seeds that are being made available free to the public.
