Charlotte
Location Details:
March starts at Roosevelt Park, 19th and E. Santa Clara Sts., San Jose, goes through downtown San Jose and ends up at City Hall, 5th and Santa Clara.

We invite women and men to come together to celebrate International Women's Day. A march through downtown San Jose will call for peace, justice, marriage equality, safer streets, health care, education, jobs and pay equity, the environment and an end to all types of violent oppression at home and abroad. Along the way, marchers will stop and honor women leaders and movements by paying tribute to historical markers in San Jose.

Following the march will be a creative art session from 1:00 to 2 pm in front of City Hall. The program includes live music, dance, poetry, canvas murals, art making and cultural presentations.
