Garden tools, our fellow hard-working friends, need some love and care too. In this hands-on clinic we'll go over some of the most important gardening tools, their uses, and how to clean and sharpen them. The main focus of this workshop will be hands-on learning– so bring your garden tools and Tool Guru Thomas Vogl will take you through the steps of cleaning, sharpening and maintaining them. We'll provide the cleaning and sharpening material. If you don’t have any tools but would like to join us, we have plenty in the garden just waiting to be loved. Be prepared to get a little dirty and walk home with a pair of pruners so clean and sharp your neighbors will be green with envy. This workshop is $10, although no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Pre-registration is required. To pre-register or for more information please visit http://www.gardenfortheenvironment.org.
