§What Is the Point of this Ride?

Since the days of "the couch" being towed along, and a street party developing on West 4th Street, this Berkeley bicycle ride has become increasingly imprecise politically. Is this still relevant to global climate destabilization? Is this a party on wheels? Is this an advertisement for the Bad Smut zine? Is this an Hellarity House fundraiser? Is this associated in any way with East Bay Food Not Bombs? Is this a public plea to keep the Long Haul Infoshop doors open? Is this a DIY spectacle? Is this a promotion for safe bicycle riding? Is this a search fo the lost couch? WHAT IS THIS?
