Santa Cruz, CA. – The Santa Cruz County Planning Commission will be holding a public meeting to consider amendments to county guidelines for the regulation of medical marijuana collectives.

“It appears that reasonable regulation is necessary in order to maintain continuity between patient access to medicine and a reasonable remuneration for cost of production,” says Valerie Corral, Executive Director of WAMM.

“Hopefully there will be oversight to promote honesty while serving our patient community.”

WAMM is encouraging all medical marijuana patients and supporters to attend the meeting and voice your opinion! This is a great opportunity to have a positive impact on regulation that affects you as a patient. The meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, at the County Government Center (701 Ocean Street) in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Room 525.
