KUSF License to Be Sold
The University of San Francisco announced today that the license for KUSF, 90.3, is to be sold.
The venerable adult alternative radio station, KUSF, headquartered at the University of San Francisco found today, much to their shock, that the University of San Francisco plans to sell their license to the University of Southern California and forcibly convert them to an on-line only format. USC plans to play classical music 24/7 on 90.3 FM, thus abandoning the new and alternative music format that has thrived on KUSF.
A protest and planning meeting is scheduled for 7pm Wednesday the 19th at USF's Phelan Hall in San Francisco.
