Richardson Grove Roadwork to begin Tuesday
Keep in mind Caltrans has already announced publicly their intentions to begin the R.I.P.(Richardson Grove Improvement Project) this February(as soon as 11 days from this Tuesdayś debris removal start date.) This Caltrans press release appeared in the Times-Standard and Ukiah Journal as well as on KIEM television news on Friday night (1/14) at 11:00 PM in which Caltrans makes a point to state that this work located in the same proposed project area is not related to the R.I.P.

Caltrans has announced that crews will be performing routine maintenance on U.S. Highway 101 in Richardson Grove State Park beginning Tuesday and continuing through Thursday, Jan. 20, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
24 hours of closure to remove debris?
Work will involve removal of debris from the shoulders of the roadway and drainage ditches. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
