Wednesday, February 2nd 2011, 5:45-7:45 PM LGBT-dating (same gender) 100 Larkin Street Lower Level, Latino/Hispanic Community Room B San Francisco, CA 94102 415-557-4277 Please join us for these special Valentine Literary Speed Dating events at the Library! LGBT and straight books lovers ages 20-30s will have opportunities to meet a special sweet heart and/or new friends during this first-time-ever speed dating event at San Francisco Public Library. In classic speed dating style, you will have 4-5 minutes to talk with every participant about your favorite, most loathsome, perplexing, or intriguing books. Due to space limitations we are limiting each event to 36 participants; pre-registration is required. Please contact ddrummond [at] sfpl.org or come in-person to the Business Science and Technology Center reference desk on the 4th floor to sign up. Both events will be gender balanced as much as possible. We encourage participants to arrive early because of the nature of these events; "no-shows" or those who arrive late will forfeit their place on the registration list to those on the wait lists who are present. All Library events are FREE!
