Ed Lee the City Administrator has been chosen as the INTERIM Mayor of San Francisco. Willie L.Brown Jr. and Rose Pak a political mover and shaker from SF China Town - worked hard behind the scenes to make that possible, too. Steve Kava who is Newsom Adviser played a role to safeguard his job - he worked for Willie too. David Chiu will still be President of the SF BOS - even though the so called Conservatives - want him out. Life will go on and San Francisco will be vibrant in 2011.
Friday, January 7, 2011 will go down in history as a day that made history for all Chinese American constituents of San Francisco and California.
A good Chinese American man who is intelligent and humble was chosen after much deliberation - as the INTERIM Mayor of San Francisco. Ed Lee's service to this City is second to none. That is what makes him unique. He walks the walk.
To all the Chinese Americans who suffered at the hands of the former Racists San Franciscans - this signals a day and a time when history will be written in a manner that put things in perspective.
We still have Chinese that remember the atrocities committed on innocent Chinese immigrants on Angel Island. All over this City of San Francisco.
No one gives credit to the Chinese that built the Railway in California in record time. That helped bring in the many settlers and goods and populate California.
In San Francisco in the early 1880s much before the Blacks settled in the Bayview and Hunters Point - we had the Chinese fishermen that were discriminated upon by this City of San Francisco.
Today, we see pockets of discrimination against Chinese in San Francisco - we must put an end to this nonsense.
Ed Lee knows it all and he personally has seen it all.
Not too long ago he did not want to have anything to do with the thought of being the INTERIM Mayor of San Francisco. I did not want him to be the INTERIM Mayor of San Francisco. The reason is simple - I did not want him to be under the control of the former "thug" Mayor of San Francisco - Willie L. Brown Jr. Also, the conniving Steve Kava who intends to stay to help but will be dictated by Willie L. Brown what to do - in coming months.
Behind the scene Rose Pak - a wheeler and dealer in China Town has been known to take junkets to China with Mayors - that includes Gavin Newsom and Willie L.Brown Jr. She is known as a power broker and those few that remain in power in China Town - still listen to her - because they believe she can deliver. Time will tell.
Willie L. Brown Jr. is well known for his extra curricula activities. Count on Rose Pak to pursue such hobbies to his fulfillment.
David Chiu, the present President of the SF Board of Supervisors, was caught in a bind.
Behind the scenes David Chiu was invited by Gavin Newsom and offered the job of District Attorney. He did the wise thing by NOT accepting it.
David Chiu must now live with the SF Board of Supervisors - the present incumbents for now - and the new SF Board of Supervisors joining him today - Saturday, November 8, 2011.
Come January 11, 2011 - a new President of San Francisco Board of Supervisors (BOS) will be elected - and hopefully, David Chiu will be elected. If elected he will learn a lot about dirty politics - and he will learn to stay above the fray - but, most of all he will learn the art of working as a team.
After all when he first joined that SF BOS he had no experience - he was a novice. We should give Chris Daly the credit for helping him - become the First Chinese President of the Board of Supervisors - and so far he has done well.
True, he made some mistakes - but, on the whole - he has stood his ground, has the fortitude to stand his ground - and he will do well - if first we support him and secondly we continue to work with him as decent constituents of San Francisco.
For sure the intrigues of the past will go away with Gavin Newsom.
The man is spineless and has been listening to others and recent ploy and machinations were the doing of Steve Kava - who chartered a course for himself and some Gavin Newsom supporters - that Ed Lee will find difficult to let go.
I know Ed Lee - and I say to you: "Ed Lee - if you discern and find these Gavin Newsom supporters in the present Administration a burden, some baggage - let them go. Show the world that you mean business. All those Administrative Assistants that YOU have information about - the anointing was done and then you were informed. Well, now is the time to - get rid of the fat."
We have a population of 816,000 in San Francisco and we have over 28,000 City Employees. This is a serious problem and if anyone understand this fact - it is Ed Lee.
During the Gavin Newsom era there has been rampant corruption.
Corruption in the SF Planning Department.
Now, is the time to reign in and deal with the Big Developers - Lennar, and all those thinking they can steal our Water Front and get away with murder. Including the recent heist where property has been given and deals made by Gavin Newsom and Larry Ellison.
Steve Kava must not be kept on board - there is not one single thing - that you Ed Lee do not comprehend in detail that you would desire to keep this White boy - to tell you what to do and what not to do. Send him packing - and stay away from this dog that is full of flies.
Bevan Dufty and Sophie Maxwell can fly way together.
They did much disservice to this City and the constituents. That is all I will say for now. As for Bevan Dufty running for Mayor - he might as well get out of the race right now - and save his money. For one I know Chris Daly will get him one way or the other.
Sophie has always been on the take - so now she can go away for once - leave San Francisco and take her fat butt far away and stay away.
Then we have Air Head - Michela Alioto-Pier who panders to the rich and the Pacific Heights Mafia - she has been a pain in the butt - but, she can wheel herself to freedom and stay there.
I would be remiss if I did not give KUDOS to Chris Daly.
It is difficult to stand up for the TRUTH and Chris did that. People talk about being polite - you cannot when others use politeness to foster back room deals, corruption, ploys and machinations.
Bevan Dufty's ploy to take the twenty minuted recess, in the middle to the deliberation to elect the Interim Mayor on January 4, 2011 in uncalled for. Then, Bevan calls in Sophie Maxwell and makes a deal to vote for Ed Lee. While in the background - text messages are being sent by Steve Kava to seal the deal and disrespect the constituents of San Francisco - all this must be investigated.
All message made privy to the public. Here is where true Democracy come in - full transparency and accountability. People who act in this way are devious and think type of behavior must not be condoned at all.
Hopefully all those players in this plot, the Gavin Newsom staff present will be investigated.That is why we need a camera in Room 200 - so that there is full transparency and accountability.
Everything can be seen and recorded. Had there been a camera - Ruby Trouk would not have encountered the advances of Gavin Newsom - Gavin Newsom would not be able to sleep with his best friends wife. What a disgrace - Gavin Newsom the ultimate Mr. Dipstick!
Now Sean Elsbernd is left with Carmen Chu ( the transplant from New York appointed by Gavin Newsom) who will be joined by a Zionist, a transplant from New York from District 8. I will be watching him carefully.
In about 9 months the Mayoral Election will heat up - and the many candidates will vie for the position of Mayor of San Francisco.
Leland Yee, Tony Hall, Bevan Dufty, Dennis Herrera, and the list goes on and on. What will really be interesting is if Chris Daly joins the race - the grassroots folks can now rally for the first time in many years and bring about results that favor them.

Gavin Newsom is a dick - has always been one - and for us to accept his position and signing any agreement - on prime water front property for long leases like 66 years - is something this City should NOT agree to.
Nothing much in this economy is happening on Treasure Island and Hunters Point. At Candlestick Point - Lennar is deep in trouble - millions of dollars in the hold and growing.
Ed Lee will have his hands full as INTERIM Mayor of San Francisco.
MUNI, where over 300 drivers are leaving before April, they are retiring - taking their benefits and biding adieu to the City and County. Many of them with over 25 years of experience.
To replace these drivers will take time - and MUNI will experience great difficulties.
We have the homeless and we must deal with them.
We have issues with our streets and the many potholes. Our City's infrastructure is breaking down from the many years of deferred maintenance.
Our children need help and so do our Seniors that are being shafted.
Our health system has still to be tweaked. Our children are going to bed hungry - one in three in the many areas - especially the Southeast Sector.
We must all rally to support Ed Lee. I will visit him once he settles down - I will give him some three weeks.
