Cable Car turnaround, Powell at Market Streets in downtown San Francisco

Yeah, we're back again after getting rained out Christmas Day!

Come along on this walking tour of downtown San Francisco which proposes a method whereby the value of community can be restored to the community. In fact, the tour is a survey of some of the social movements which have originated in or moved to San Francisco.

The walk presents the case for treating nature as a community commons, and securing equal and universal economic, social and environmental interest in nature. Pertinently, this includes treating the market value of the radio frequency spectrum as public revenue!

It's a Xmas Day outing for those interested in seeing what the secular equivalent of Jesus' admonition to "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, and unto God [the community] that which is God's" might look like.

All proceeds go to your choice of KPFA, Democracy Now! or KALW.

Sliding scale $10-50.
Begins at the cable-car turnaround, Powell at Market Streets
