Trans Bay Cable online and Mirant Power Plant off line - plans are afoot to power on TBC.

The Trans Bay Cable has been in the works for the last 8 years plus. Some of us participated in all the deliberations. But, for some strange reason - the powers to be want only the devious to participate at the switching on of the Trans Bay Cable - tomorrow the Winter Solstice day - around 10 am in the morning.

So, all you folks from Potrero Hill - the likes of Joe Boss, John Castro, Steve Moss, Dennis Herrera, Karen Pierce, LEJ, Gavin Newom - join the fat cow from the Bayview who is being termed out - for the celebration of sorts.

No new generation is involved with this connection and operation- the Pittsburg Power Plant has made a deal with a Private entity to bring this power via a special cable - laid by a Special Ship below the Bay, equipped to do this type of work - and in close cooperation with SIEMENS - who have developed some special equipment to convert Direct Current into Alternative Current.

Plans were a afoot to celebrate the feast this June, 2010 with a festivities at Moshi's but then something went amiss and the pre-mature celebration was canceled.

Some hearings were held at City Hall and we were told that all would be well - Siemen's in the meantime would pay a penalty and that all would be taken care of. So, the day has arrived - an auspicious hundred year Winter Solstice - very significant - the dumb organizers may not know about it - but, it bodes well that the Mirant Power Plant will fade away - gradually, when done its dirty work all these many, years.

Generating Electricity is not easy - you just cannot shut down the operations. It has to be done in phases. So, for sure the worst turbines will be killed or shut down first. Turbine Three was one that used fossil fuel, an antiquated system, and generated the worst types of particulates. So, that Turbine Engine - will be killed. Good riddance.

As to the other Turbine Engines and there are more - the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) will determine in detail how that is done.

Electricity best flows in a circle - so even though people think that the Hunters Point Power Plant is gone - it really has not gone. There are turbines and other equipment that help in the distribution of the power. Much, as they will be at the present Mirant Location, 9th and Mission, Howard, and the other places that anyone can do their research and find out.

The connectivity of these power hubs in short make the electricity flow well - and have to be tweaked complete with transmissions lines that have been upgraded by Pacific Gas and Electricity. We all pay for this we if carefully read our PG&E bills. If we need more information we can contact the California Public Utilities Commission. The have detail material and welcome folks contacting them - and complaining to them - as as when PG&E and the other Utilities including SF Public Utilities Commission do not behave themselves.

Joe Boss and Sophie Maxwell can now dance the jig - these two will take credit for everything. In the background or foreground Dennis Herrera and Aaron Peskin will surely be there - when that SWITCH is turned on to make the Trans Bay Cable operational.

The TBC has not been forthright with the community. There must be Transparency and Accountability and this faded about a year and half ago. Lynnette Sweet who lost the District 10 election - will be at hand as and when the SWITCH is turned on.

Why? She believe it or not received $120,000 to do Outreach and did little if nothing. I suppose the plotters thought she would win the District 10 elections - and anyway you look at it - in this very corrupt world - Lynnette the most despicable corrupt person that she is will be there to play - second fiddle.

Birds of a feather folks together - and whoever chose to be close to Lynnette made the biggest mistake. Anything she touches - is polluted and those who back her too.

On another note - much more worthy and interesting if not down right necessary to comprehend.
Our City uses about 980 Mega Watts of Electricity to keep all our lights and other equipment running.

The Trans Bay Cable (TBC) will bring in 400 Mega Watts and the rest will be used from the Mirant Plant Power - there are another three Turbines that are fairly modern and generate less particulates. Slowly, as the technology develops and this City generates more power using sustainable practices - Solar,Wind, Wave, Booming, and so forth - we will have learned to Respect Mother Earth - and do as the First People did for thousands of years.

We must reduce our Carob Footprint and in the last three years we are attempting to do just that.

The White Men has polluted this Earth. So, this present technology of transferring excess power or electricity may seem to look right but it is not. Pittsburg generates the electricity and those turbines generate a lot of particulates and other toxic elements that pollute. So, thousands in that area suffer from illnesses.

The powers to be know this - but MONEY comes first and Transparency and Accountability last.

There is new legislation AB32 and other Propositions that are tweaking how much pollution is acceptable. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District - will now fine if any one entity that pollutes the air. There is still the dubious transactions of selling credits - some entity generates and has a lower carbon foot print - and then chooses to sell it to another entity - for money.

It really does not make sense - but, to the crooked, money - is what matters. Using this credit method the Hunters Point Power Plant was kept alive for years. Never mind thousands of poor people slowly died from cancer and other breathing ailments. Sophie Maxwell was the District 10 Supervisor - I should say is - that is until January 4, 2011.

Plans are afoot all over the City to generate Solar and the large Solar Generation on the Sunset Reservoir is in place. There will be another at University Mound that may generate more since it will receive more sun being in a sunny area in the Portola District just off San Bruno Avenue in San Francisco by Wayland Avenue.

Plans are a foot to tap into Wind and once there were hundreds of Wind Mills generating water and may be electricity in the Bayview. Right now there are three and more at planned. Five wind mills generating electricity all over the City.

At 525 Golden Gate the SF Public Utilities Commission Building there is a Wind Equipment that will generate electricity and incorporated into the building. It is a LEED Building and those of you interested should go check this build - that is being constructed and will be completed fully - in less then nine months.

Now, it remains to be seen how the TBC will treat the customers and if it stop shafting those that support it and participated in the deliberations. Or there will excuses - we forget to send send you an invite - or that the SWITCHING of the new gear was only meant for the BIG WIGS and messy farts - excuses galore that we have heard - before.

It is a corrupt world and Pacific Gas and Electricity decided some years ago knowing how messy generation of electricity was - having done it for over hundred and five years - to sell out the Mirant Plant and close down the Hunters Point Power Plant Down.

Now, PG&E has proprietary jurisdiction of the transmission lines and thinks that it can make money charging any entity that it deems necessary to use the transmission lines - for a price. Much like it has on the Natural Gas Line that it has messed up - example San Bruno in South San Francisco.

There are underground Transmission Lines that emit Electro Magnetic Fields (EMFs) and there are Transmission Lines above ground - very High Powered that emit - you guessed it EMFs.

If any human being and life are near these EMFs for an extended period of time - there are adverse consequences. The Precuationary Principle has NOT been applied to PG&E by the SF City and County of San Francisco. Some one like Dennis Herrera who will be at the ceremony of sorts tomorrow - has not done his home work and less his work.

He wants to run for Mayor of San Francisco for all the wrong reasons.

Anyway, you all can now relax - having learned some about the dirty politics and how mostly poor people and those that live around Sewage Treatment Plants, Power Plants, Aggregate Companies, other facilities that adversely impact - mostly the poor - are treated like dirt because the filthy rich think they are - expandable.
