Lennar a GREEDY developer is swimming in the CESSPOOL on their own making - BVHP VICTORY!
The grassroots community has been fighting the Rogue Developer - Lennar. Lennar is in deep trouble. Drowning in the CESSPOOL of its own making. It is over $400 million in the HOLE linked to its devious plans at Hunters Point Shipyard. Nothing, will happen at Parcel A and less at the Shipyard - as long as Lennar hovers around. Lennar is a Rogue Developer that has been defeated by the grassroots, community at large.
For the last 8 years we have been talking about Development in the Bayview Hunters Point area and beyond. Reporting to keep the facts alive and create a record to connect the dots. Thousands of articles are available on the Internet and many here on Indybay that has been so kind to us.
We all know the present state of our Economy. Many, now fully realize that some Big Developers - built too many houses and worked with the banks to create loan programs with such fancy names as derivatives and sub-prime loans.
Closer to home near Tracy, Stockton, Modesto, Sacramento - thousands of homes are in foreclosure.
Here, is San Francisco the tentacles of the evil programs and loans linked to derivatives and sub-prime loans have forced hundreds to foreclose their homes.
We see this in the Bayview Hunters Point area. Good homes many four and five room homes - once paid for by the Parents - only for the children to take a loan on the fully paid home in the hope of building some false equity and causing untold hardship. When balloon payments could not be paid - down went the equity and their homes. This and other reason have caused mostly Blacks to lose the homes of their parents in the hundreds in the Bayview Hunters Point area.
In other cases Latinos were enticed to come and buy the homes. In this case huge loans were prepared and signed without the Latinos fully comprehending - the interest rates tied to the loans but more to the losing of their homes. The scene above repeat to another segment of the population and even more hardship was spread around.
The same with the Asian population - but this segment has managed to get back on track - because Asian Real Estate experts and others have come to the victims aid.
What has our City done for the victims - besides the talk - N O T H I N G .
In the Bayview Hunters Point the City and County of San Francisco has not lifted a finger to help the people at large. Over 10,000 small business in the area contribute taxes, regularly to the coffers of the Treasury linked to the City and County of San Francisco.
The Main Post Office is in the Bayview, so is the Produce Market, so are the many Electrical, Furniture, Plumbing, other warehouse selling materials need much in the construction industry - all situated in the Bayview Hunters Point and paying large - taxes to this Racist City.
We pay so much in taxes - and the City and County of San Francisco keeps taking, and taking but does not care to invest - in our area.
Now and then the City and mostly the Mayor's Office of Economic Development will come out with ploys. These ploys and machinations do not benefit the people.
The biggest ploy was introduced by the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (SFRA). Without any meaningful notice and more a meeting - the Survey Area was extended. The SFRA promptly expanded to over 2568 acres - the entire Shipyard and parts of Visitation Valley that were never, ever part of the old Project Area.
What the SF Redevelopment Agency and Commission did not expect to encounter was the present Economic Crisis - that will remain with us for another ten years at least. We have a 14 Trillion dollar deficit. Within 2 years the SFRA will come to its knees - and the many corrupt people that work for it and have made their nest - therein.
It is a shame that with these real crisis looming over our heads - the SF Mayor's Office of Economic Development and Workforce, the Mayor of San Francisco (the lame duck Mayor to be precise) - wants Lennar to build 10,500 homes on the Shipyard and Candlestick Point.
Both large areas are prone to liquefaction and flooding. No one in their right mind, in these dire economic times will buy a home on these sites - not even a dog house should be built on these contaminated sites.
In the interim hundreds of Polynesians are being evicted - even during these holidays.
Where are the Polynesian leaders? Where are the Mai Tais? There is much talk but no action. No one has the guts to ask the empirical data from the SF Housing Authority and tackle the problem.
Innocent people are suffering and for the first time children are affected.
The Main Press will not write about these facts - and the on going out migration has reduced the Black population to shambles. The mostly Black sellouts that use to get some money from Lennar - are now reeling and do not know what to do. The well is dry - and they are all at a loss for words, the tails between their legs - trying to save face but they have been a disgrace to the community. Among them the Poverty Pimp Pastors.
In the year 2004 - Lennar a Rogue Developer chose with INTENT to bombard our community with toxic dust, dangerous particulates, radiological elements, and of course Asbestos dust and particles that once they enter into your body stay there for years - and kill you slowly. The Regulatory Agencies - the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Toxic Control and Substances, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, the SF Health Department - all were prodded by the Representatives - despicable; such as Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Gavin Newsom, those SF Supervisor tied to the hip of Gavin Newsom - to prevent and stall any action from the Regulatory Agencies to adversely impact the constituents that mostly need help - our children and our Elders.
In the interim since early 2004 our innocent children, women, men, and especially our Elders have suffered from migraine headaches, burning eyes, sore throat, indigestion, lack of sleep, and other ailments that the doctors from the many hospitals - have NOT been able to figure out.
This City and County of San Francisco does not have a Toxicologist.
If you go to the office of the Health Department on Grove Street you will see the name on the door - but, no one inside. The position has been vacant. When this City needs one it turns to the University of California San Francisco - who in this case has cooperated with the City Officials - against the COMMONS and the innocent people who have suffered.

We have a new District 10 Supervisor in Malia Cohen. She, I hope understands the impact of inferior services in District 10 and Visitation Valley - impacting San Bruno Avenue in District 9. She must make the connection having lived in both Districts.
Our District 9 Supervisor who has jurisdiction of San Bruno Avenue, those areas that fall within his jurisdiction has been slow to understand the situation. However, some of us that have lived on San Bruno Avenue - have to deal with the pros and cons - and many a time with, utmost - patience.
It is not uncommon for thugs from other areas to come and prey on innocent victims on San Bruno Avenue - that falls under District 9. Sophie Maxwell has been busy raking in the money - but has not done much when it comes to Safety and Health. David Campos the District 9 Supervisors - has had all the time to reflect - but, time is running out.
Lennar has affected the environment of a large area - three mile radius. The idiots that Represent must be able to figure this out - but, lacking education, less being educated on issues, less history - are parasites of the system making corrupt policies and in all their deliberations mostly ninety percent is hot air - more polluted and very toxic.
Many of us living in the Southeast Sector have to deal with our youth. Over twenty five percent of the youth live in the Southeast Sector. One in three of them go hungry to bed. Imagine how many of them do not have the basic needs - books, clothes, medicine, transportation, the other things that their richer peers have.

These Supervisors linked to Gavin Newsom are quick to vote against Local Hire - foremost the three that are tied to the hip of Mayor Gavin Newsom.
Gavin Newsom promised the constituents of San Francisco a 49er stadium. He failed.
Gavin Newsom promised to bring the Summer Olympics and planned to build an Olympic Village right in the middle of the Hunters Point Shipyard - a toxic dump, a Superfund Site - he failed.
Gavin Newsom promises to build 10,500 on the same toxic dump - no one will live in the middle of Chernobyl. He will fail.
Gavin Newsom will fail on Treasure Island. It is prone to liquefaction but more is toxic too. Gavin Newsom will fail.
