Seniors for Peace http://www.mvseniorsforpeace.org/links.html and the Marin Immigrant Rights Coalition Film Group (meets http://www.novatoyouthcenter.org ) This revealing and intimate film explores the reasons why people leave their home and communities in Mexico and Central America to come to the United States in search of a better life for their children and themselves. It covers the conditions that force them to make the decision to leave their homes, the journey and what they find when they arrive. The Marin Immigrant Rights Coalition film group interviewed residents in the Canal Neighborhood of San Rafael and traveled to Arizona and Mexico to find the nuances of the migrant's story. The filmmakers, Francisco Diaz, Carolina Dutton, Carol Costa, Colleen Rose, Buff Whitman-Bradley and Jim Geraghty will be present to discuss the film and answer questions. put up by http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000031433391
