Yeah,the cops now and always have been ady to jump off the chain given the slightest opportunity or motivation. As preface, let me also say that I well understand that the institutions role is essentially to maintain a status quo however fucked up, it may be, and to defend power, property and privilege... so FTP now as always.

But what predicated this contact? ON whose cspecific case or behalf was this approach initiated? And to suss out they were obviously cops by way of their vests (and everything else !) then just flip the script flimsily (when it suited you, to rationalize your running AND THIS IS TO THE VERY PEOPLE WHO JUST ATTACKED YOU!?!) claiming that you thought they might be uh kriminals instead of the undercovers you just outed just getting ugly. on your ass..???

Hurray for you being a bulldog fucking with Officer Friendly's day but I gotta call for a little peer review or accountability here. Some round here have pulled more than a few shifts for Copwatch and personally my first kicking down of real support for them was about 21 or 22 years ago - So there are those of us out here who are not only down for the community and the fight against the cops but are real about watching out for the the Copwatch groups that you are claiming .

So , just a suggestion ....but check yourself, man. You might as well cuz we already are and have startedl asking relevant people questions about your ass.

yeah who would write critically about anything we do but a cop? Reflection or self-criitique or rigor or always wanting a little bit more IS OBVIOUSLY COUNTERREVOLUTIONARY!! As long as I get to posture like a in -the-know super badass on an anonymous board, I'm gonna keep on circle jerkin until this delusion gets boring or utopia falls from the sky because I wore a self-aggrandizing smirkiness.

And, I have no special knowledge whether Cunado is a cop or just a plain asshole. But that piece has cop written all over it. Except for the first line pro-forma radical 'disclaimer', the piece reads like all the cops who defend Mehserle. It has cop language: "Predicated this contact". It has a cop story, ie. that we can't just watch the cops whenever we choose but have to do it on some crime. It has a cop's question, "Why did you change your story?" when it seems obvious that he was thinking about all the possibilities. And it has a cointelpro-style 'research'. Who cares what name Jacob used-i think Jacob's ladder is pretty cleaver. This is no radical critique but has the flavor of something else.
