KPFA Salary and Benefit Figures

Lemlem Rijio, Sasha Lilley, Alfandary and BET were literally stealing money with both fists. Withers the "cop calling business manager" was in collusion and cosigned every expenditure, promotion/salary increase and enhanced benefit package (including a mini fax machine for the personal use of BET when he flew to the Demo convention not to report but to "produce") Her only question was, "Where do I get mine and when can I call the police on Nadra ---she annoys me and doesn't accept it when I insult and attempt to intimidate her."

No wonder the two previous General Managers, both experienced professionals- were run out of Dodge/KPFA-no one but Lemlem Rijio an inexperienced, insecure, immoral, vulnerable, stubbornly arrogant, ego driven personality would have agreed to follow the advice of equally inexperienced and immoral advisers to facilitate this raid on the pennies of a 501 (c3) nonprofit.

Further more, as the money dried up, 'cause weak programming and passionless news was not bringing it in, they colluded for silence with WBAI, tried to hide a $375K donor check, this in order to report low totals and beg for more money, more money, your money to balance the glut of gifts to favored staff. (Copenhagen anyone??) Shall we bring on an another assistant to carry your enormous ego anyone?

With that supposedly accomplished and renewed confidence they justified their attempt to redirect the mission statement of a national treasure the legacy of a pacifist poet and martyr to suit their own weak, actually evil agenda to accept sponsorship, that is corporate control of the peoples airways; this for personal power, greed for money and the control of a multimillion dollar radio chain.

Here's the plan: kill elections as too "costly'. (Copenhagen anyone or two or three?) We, thee elite, white and well educated, will direct how to handle everything and appoint the "right people". People more like "US". Don't trust "THEM", those odd little volunteers from the streets (yuck), kill their union, dismantle any possible oversight authority (Program Council-LSB). And when things start falling apart let's meet over coffee on Saturday to discuss how we can make others responsible for our mistakes and failures. That way no one will catch us with our hands in the till: Instead, "Let's make our enemies guilty for the problems to come"-BET. Who then went whistling home to dinner. Hopefully he washed the listeners' blood off his hands before he sat down.

Tell them that despite an obvious lack of experience, we are the professionals, we are in control and have all the power and we want to save KPFA because we are concerned about the influx of too many darkies, I mean volunteers and minorities demanding representation or positions of power.

We, the rich, powerful educated, and white, despite lagging cash reserves, low audience numbers, stagnant programming, gender/ race based multiple law suits and an actual police action in the workplace (against a black female producer with 12 years of volunteer seniority) are the only ones qualified to lead KPFA. ( WTF)

In fact-- we should call ourselves thee KPFA/Concerned Listeners/ Later we'll morph into a false resurrection of SaveKPFA to exploit the history of real liberal progressives, for the purpose of righteous insurrection to prevent laying off our favored staffers,regardless of union seniority. Meanwhile we will ignore union law to when lay offs unfairly effect senior staff, we do not like.

We will only protest and enlist union solidarity to fight higher level management when it suits OUR purpose. You know-sometimes it feels like a union and sometimes it feels like oppression. It depends on how we feel.

IF we talk fast enough no one will figure it out because after all they are them and -well after all-we are US! Who are you gonna believe your lying eyes or good looking US over a greasy bunch of little people, unpaid volunteers/women/colored people, without a union. (We killed their union, see the blood is still fresh on our hands!)

Well-A Fist Full of Dollars only worked in the movies, here on Planet Reality, we call it a failure to effectively administrate, stagnant numbers, weak, wimpy programming and gross negligence. Now you know so- over ambitious 30 year olds- or entrenched 30 years of meanness, madness, neurosis and corruption, leave and take your entrenched evil attitudes with you. Go!
