All Veterans and their loved ones are invited to attend a seminar hosted by the Sacramento Valley Veterans (SVV).
Join us for a presentation given by Janet Lial, Sacramento VA’s Suicide Prevention Coordinator as she covers the following topics:
- Returning veterans and readjustment issues
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Dealing with the impact of traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Suicidal ideation and how to spot symptoms
Learn more about the VA’s suicide prevention program. Receive training on how to ask about suicide and how to refer them to treatment.
The presentation will run from 6:30 p.m. to about 7:45 p.m. Following the presentation, Veterans and their loved ones may stay and talk. Refreshments will be served.
WHAT YOU LEARN HERE CAN SAVE A LIFE!
