Police have moved into the park and began cutting down and stealing treesitters' supplies. If you can get to Berkeley now, please do, and soon. The sitters desperately need your support right now.

Police seem to be taking advantage of people being focused on the upcoming Mehserle sentencing in Oakland later today in choosing their timing to attack the tree sit.

unless they cut the trees down, you could just go up a different tree, or return later. Think outside the box and don't rack up arrests as points.

no need to divide the two struggles... while both are important, the original post comes off as wanting to "rank" struggles... this is BS, we must stand for both, not suggest a need to pick one or the other!
