In a vicious attack on Bay Area transit workers, management and corporate controlled politicians have sought to pit mostly Black and Latino drivers against the public and riders in a union busting plan to get massive concessions and give-backs from unionized public transit workers.
From the BART Board of Directors, SF Mayor Gavin Newsom and his MTA along with the AC Board of Directors these managers and union busters have an agenda to destroy the gains and conditions of transit workers and make them pay for this economic crisis caused by the billionaires and their bankrupt economic system.
This forum will provide a vehicle to get the voices out of rank and file transit workers and to discuss a plan to fight back and build solidarity among all transportation workers.
It’s time to use the collective power of transit workers in Northern California and all public workers to fight back and stop these attacks.
