On May 31st of this year, a flotilla of humanitarian aid boats bound for
Gaza was attacked in international waters by the Israeli military as Israel
attempted to enforce a naval blockade of Gaza regarded as illegal by the
United Nations and much of the world. By the night's end, 9 people on board
had been shot and killed by Israeli forces, including one American citizen,
with many more seriously injured and then kidnapped. Come hear the
first-hand accounts of Bay area survivors of the flotilla assault as they
discuss what really happened that night and what new challenges to the
illegal Israeli blockade of Gaza are being undertaken.
