by What happened to Luther Blissett?
..inquiring minds want to know.

Not quite sure sir, let us know when you find out!

A quick search of the UCSC directory shows that none of these individuals are students. Surprise!
by barbarian
would lead you to discover that the two E's are actually alumni. Try a little harder next time, Cyrus.

One shouldn't be surprised that those arrested are alumni. They were once liberal arts students who majored in something in which they could get no job. Once they graduated they didn't do anything with their lives and thus stayed in Santa Cruz. Attempting to find meaning in their lives, they became "anarchists" and now live to perpetuate the cycle by going on campus and organizing "dance parties" and "strikes" with the unassuming freshmen.

So which one is facing additional charges of supplying a false ID?
by Saul Goodman
Not sure what you're asking, nobody involved had a fake id. There are no charges revolving around that. In fact, at this mornings court appearance we were told no charges have actually been filed.
by ?
Saul, Saul,

I think you know what I mean. Physical fake ID or not, somehow initial reports were that a "Luther" was arrested, and now has a different name. Just giving a phony name is chargeable, and as a fictional sleazebag lawyer, you know that.
Okay, so maybe if I spent a few more minutes and decided to troll through all alumni names I would have learned that. But it would do nothing to prove that UCSC police are out to "get" UCSC students for having a dance party. They may, however, arrest non-students on campus agitating and inviting trouble for the specific purpose of disrupting current students' activities.

Nice try to cover up the earlier statements about police repression against innocent students just hanging out, though. Try harder next time.
by Anarchists in denial
The S.C. anarchist crew got lazy. They used the same technique and game plan they've used in the past.

But due to being lazy and repeating tactics, they've been outted. Their game revealed. The students didn't buy into it, the hecklers here busted them, and the anarchists who attempted the "action" are now either buttoning their own lips on this site cause they know they blew it, or the're spending their time posting transparent denials that fall apart faster than they can fabricate them.

Give it up guys. Your game got tired, and the new crop of frosh is more savvy than their predecessors. B seems to have run out of film, WM is busy covering his own butt, and RN has co-opted your site to make it his personal bully pulpit. The site has degenerated to a site where vandals try to portray their tagging of a van or slashing of a tire as a political statement.

Game - Over.
