Col. Ann Wright will talk about her first-hand experience of the May 31st attack on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. Wright is a former U.S. Army colonel and a U.S. diplomat who resigned in opposition to the Iraq War. A private reception at 5:30 to meet her over dinner precedes the talk. Contact 14friendsofpalestine [at] gmail.com for details on that. The reception and talk will raise funds for The Audacity of Hope, the U.S. boat for the next flotilla's attempt to break the siege of Gaza. Minimum donation for reception: $40; for talk only: $20, but no on will be turned away from the talk for lack of funds. Checks of at least $150 are tax deductible.
