Come for a stimulating introduction to South American anarchist theory and practice. Part of the discussion will relate to struggles against education cuts and general austerity, which is very relevant for all of us in California.
Since the inception of the labor movement in South America to recent involvement of movements of the poor, unemployed and landless, anarchists have been involved in creating theory and action to further the struggle of the people for freedom and equality in southernmost tip of the Americas. This event aims to talk about that history and discuss what can be applied from their experiences into our own struggles in the U.S.

Sponsored by Amanecer: For Popular Anarchism and Workers Solidarity Alliance.
