sept 4, SF-- Anti-war(?) rally? Real or tricknology?

by TBL (nakity [at] yahoogroups.com)
Who is sponsoring the "anti-war rally" in SF on Sept. 4???
Republicans?
Dear fellow peace-niks,

I go to almost all peace marches,
when my health permits me;
even tho each march will contain some
groups whose views I despise.
I even go to marches which are organized
by a political party which I despise.
So I'm not a purist.

Yet,
I am surprised to see leaflets for
a supposed "anti-war" rally in SF,
which features a candidate
running AGAINST Nancy Pelosi.

His political party isn't mentioned.
Is he a closet-Republican?

The major speakers are a
nationally-famous Republican/Libertarian;
and a locally-famous ex-Green.

What's going on?

If this event is really
anti-war,
then why wasn't it listed
in the Indybay calendar?

And if it's phony Republican
tricknology,
why hasn't anyone
previously warned Indybay readers?

Not feeling very peaceful...
