Forget about Oakland. Sonoma County is far worse, and the rednecks don't care. In the past several years seven mentally ill people were shot down in cold blood. One was a schizophenic self mutilating her arms when a cop shot her in the presence of her mother. Then the cop shot her a second time in the head.while she was lying on the floor dying. That was several years ago, and no one has uttered a peep including her mother who witness the murder. The other day an unarmed man with family and a job was shot 47 times. The name of the cops who shot the fatal bullets were not mentioned,
And how about Sgt. Mark Fuston who shot and killed unarmed Albert Mike Leday June 1. Fuston's name was withheld for more than a month until Steve Fabian, director of county ACLU demanded his identity. Fuston had been involved in two other shootings. In 2000 he shot and killed a Windsor woman who pointed a toy pistol at him. In 2003 he shot a fleeing alledged gang member.
It has been 5 months since Fuston killed Leday. What is being done about it?
